James's Notes, and Some Vitae Information
During his transition starting in 2000, Mr. Halleman was preparing himself for all aspects of transitioning.  He knew that there would be many challenges, and or obstacles for him to overcome.  What he understood, is that transitioning was and is an ever-changing process.

What transitioning has done for him, is created many opportunities for him.
"The best of which is education, which is ongoing, and multi-facted."
He has presented on general, and basic transitioning, but has found that his specialty is within the employment sector of the challenges faced by people transitioning while employed. He has received many phone calls from people who are/were in the process of transitioning.
" I can understand what the dilemmas are, and how to help overcome, employers objections, and apprehensions about the issues surrounding tranistioning on the job."

His education, and continuing training is ongoing.  He explains
"When I began my transition, it was suggested that I take a political approach to the situation."    Now, through continuing my education, my approaches are not only political, but infusing the legal as well. James thinks his situation can inspire others, he explains
"I think diligence can help overcome stereotypes."
"Many people can underestimated by an occupational title, that follows a person."
"That should never be an indicator about their ability to have an interest in educating themselves about what they can learn, or achieve."

His last name is derived  from the town Halle in Germany and perhaps it's most famous composer George Frederic Handel, (1685-1759) Who was born in Germany and composed his works in Great Britain.
